Hi Kids!
Although this did not turn out quite like I wanted, this second try at fauxnading peacock feathers is much better than my first. I specifically frankened all the stamping polishes for this mani with pigments, micas and sparkles- except for 1- the green surrounding the "eye". That was made from scratch with WnW clear, pigments and micas. All these frankens are metallic, have a flash and shimmer. Some are even multi shimmered...much more interesting and dimensional than the SH Chromes.
Click to enlarge the next 2 pics for a close-up of my frankens!
Fauxnad plates; T13, A18, A16
I used partial images from those plates.
As for my base color...now don't shoot me for putting all that junk on...
China Glaze Stroll, 3 coats.
1 coat Seche.

Hi Melinda! Thank you for Following!
The T shirt is from K Mart in the US. It's like a Walmart, but has been around much longer.
The T is made by Piper and Blue. When I first saw it, I thought that the printing technique was really cool. Hard to describe without it being in front of me, though.
Anyway, I bought this at a b & m- not sure if they still have them
http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_027B019082950001P?vName=Clothing&cName=JuniorsPlus&sName=Tops&sid=KDx20090423x00001&srccode=cii_10043468&cpncode=23-96263094-2. I found an online link for you;
If you move your cursor over the T it shows a larger/magnified view. The print is pixilated and digital looking up close. I've always been fascinated with textile printing, and the first thing that came to mind when I saw that particular T was lazor print.
Stunning!
Thank you so so much!! I will need to ask my american granda to get one for me and ship to Finland :D
gorgeous!
Now, I don't wear long nails and I've never done a konad, less a fauxnad, but I must say, I adore what you do to your nails. It's art. Never seen anything like it
Such a beautiful job! I'd have a hard time removing the design.
So pretty!
All I can say is WHOA~ :)
Obviously married life agrees with you - amazing as always! And congrats!
FYI - did you see chez delaney is calling for designs for image plates???? You may wish to check it out. I know you were looking for manufacturers a while back!
Holy CRAP that is the awesome! O_O
I think you must be the most artistic painter of nails! This is absolutely beautiful. I don't think I'd be able to do anything other than stare at my nails every day.
Seriously Lisa you should get paid for this! Gorgeous!
