I was tagged by both Sasha from http://nihrida.blogspot.com/ and Heather from http://lambchopmobile.blogspot.com/ !
For this tag, I'm supposed to list 7 random facts about myself.
It's taken me this long because I wanted to include randomness that is not only interesting, but ones that help my Readers know me better. I know I am different, in the freak-oddball-wtf way. Rest assured, I am those- but in a good way. I am totally harmless and much friendlier and kinder than I appear and sound.
1.) I am the Pied Piper of bats while walking at night during the summer. Ever since I can remember, I've had bats following me. The aerobatics they perform above my head is a wondrous sight to behold! Most people are easily freaked out by this. When I was little, I used to think bats loved me. Truth is- *flying insects* love me, and the bats love them.
2.) I crave ice cubes, and chew on them all day. Before I lock the restaurant for the night I grab 2 cupfuls- 1 for the road, and 1 to put in my freezer for later. I only recently found out that craving ice is a sign of an iron deficiency, and I *am* iron deficient.
3.) The birth of my youngest was quite amazing. I slept through my entire labor at home, just making the hospital in time to give birth. Jimmy entered the world face-up, screaming before his bottom lip cleared the birth canal. We were expecting a 7 pound-ish baby, and Jimmy was 9 pounds 13 ounces, and the Placenta was the largest in the hospitals history. I had him totally natural, showered immediately after giving birth, picked Jimmy up and went home.
4.) I am terrible at remembering to fill out my tag/labels box!
5.) I *cannot* stand screaming children. Not the distress kind- but the spoiled brat, bad parenting kind. I can usually tell, by body language, which kids are "bad", and I seat them accordingly-faaaaar away from me at the back of the restaurant.
6.) I have 3141 unread messages in my main email account and 987 unread messages in my secondary account.
7.) When I was very little, one of my most favorite things to do was making mud-pies & making my little brother taste them. One day, I added the contents from a bottle of "liquid" that I found in our chicken-coop.
Luck or a Higher Power was with us that day. My brother refused to "eat it". A year later, I found out that the bottle of liquid was poison....Cyanide.
Since this tag is so late, I tag everyone that hasn't been tagged yet.

I like the "weird, oddball, etc." qualities you have.
I love bats. I have only seen one (alive) in real life when I visited Arizona. We have them in Oregon but I have never seen them.
However, we did have a dead, preserved bat in cleaned out Nutella jar donated this summer. I wanted it very much bad.
Hope the cold is getting better!
Now *that* was interesting. It was totally worth to wait a couple of weeks. =) You know, I'd just hug you right now. Your honesty and oddness (is that even a word?) ... I just feel you. You're like Emily the Strange to me. I'd love to have you for a sister. Then I wouldn't be the only black sheep of the family. =)
I like looking at bats at the summer evenings. But I do have a fear they will tangle in my hair, so I do not like them flying above my head. =)
I've been iron deficient for a while... But I don't crave ice cubes. I crave blood. And I always lick it if I cut myself. Sometimes I'd drink other people's blood too. *ashamed*
Once you said you don't want to have grandchildren...is that because of the screaming? =)
Awww, thank you Sasha! You certainly know how to push my buttons...you said sister- not aunt, grandma!
I don't want grandchildren for more than just the screaming.
Thank you Heather!
For asking about my cold ...It's a bit better, although since I've had it for a week already, I'm thinking it's one of those that just draaaag on.
Oh, come on! I have a sister (step sister) who's 44 years old. So what. =)
