China Glaze Frostbite, silver snowflakes

I apologize for not doing a clean-up before taking pictures. I've been battling some health issues that have gotten progressively worse this last month that have put me in deep depression. I wore CC Wild and Willing all last week, and could not muster up motivation to break out my Fauxnad or Konad plates.
It was an effort to choose the color for this mani. To make things simpler for me I went with something to match my mood- Blue.
I'll be feeling much better after I pick-up a prescription later in the day, and will more than likely change this mani tonight or tomorrow.
Base- China Glaze Frostbite- 3 coats
Silver snowflakes are crafting  rub-ons from Michael's
2 coats Seche

Strawberry Fields Fauxnadacure- click for big pics

Good afternoon everyone! I'm happy today!... We finally have sunshine after days and days of dreariness and rain. It's supposed to reach the upper 60s by late afternoon. China Glaze Strawberry Fields is a perfectly fitting color for a glorious day like today.

Basecoat- China Glaze Strawberry Fields
Fauxnad plate H20- Stamped portions of this full image
Stamped with China Glaze Twenty-Four K
I used a dotting too to randomly place dots of Orly Shining Star on image
1 coat Seche
Pinky and middle fingers sport a coat of Essie MAY

I absolutely *love* Strawberry Fields! I was at a loss as to what color I should use to stamp the Fauxnad to compliment this color. As you can see, Twenty-Four K was probably not the best choice. It blends in with the gold glass flecks of SF a bit too much.
It's still pretty, though. Applying Essie MAY to a couple of nails brings out the image but ruins the juicy-ness of Strawberry Fields.
Any suggestions for a better stamping color?

Quickie Halloween mani- fauxnad- & 25 followers!

It took me well over an hour to remove 90% of my gradient mani. And another 40 minutes to remove the remnants of my secret weapon...the polish that allowed me to blend everything together... El-cheapo Funky Fingers in Hyper!.

Anyway, I didn't realize how badly I needed a fill until I removed all that glitter, so I did an easy quickie. After this post, I'm leaving for my fill and will work on something better tonight.

Base- 2 coats China Glaze, Orange Knockout
Overlay- Pure Ice, Hot Tamale
Fauxnad plate- H7
Stamped with Essie, Where's the Soiree?
2 coats Seche

News of the day!
I won 2nd prize in Sasse's
Halloween mani contest!

And! I have 25 followers! ...which means I have to organize all the "giveaway" items I've been collecting in anticipation of my Blog hitting 25. There will be 2 winners.
So yea...I need to get moving...this is my only day off!
