Hi Kids!
While I'm busy playing with new plate, here's a mani from the Vault that looked awesome flashy and magical in real life, but horrible in pictures. Credit for the idea goes to Deez Nailz in this post.
I hadn't planned on doing this mani at the time...it was more on the lines of playing with sequins on an old mani (Revlon Emerald City). Were I to take my time with this idea again, I would definitely choose a base polish that had more shimmer in it as well as place the sequins closer together.
In spite of the application flaws, this mani got a tremendous amount of compliments, and was fun to wear.

This is great! To me they look like scales :D
I love this mani, I think you did a great job with the placement of the sequins
I think it looks gorgeous!!
Haha! Really nice!
Love the effect!
very cool! very sparkly! :)
HOLY CRAP, AMAZING!
It looks great. Is it based on that awesome fish-scale mani that Deez did? I think you are right about the sequins being closer together but it is still spectacular.
Looks spectacular! How long did it take to put those little glitters on and line them up just so? LOL..I applaud your patience!...and I can only image how long it takes to get them off...LOL!
Wow wow wow! I love the way this turned out! Looks like fish scales & a turtle shell at the same time. Amazing work!

HOT. DAMN. You are crazy and awesome for having the patience and precision for this!
Wow! Stunning!
Howdy : )
Why is it that people (society in general) still pre-judge people who have body art. women commonly?
I'm a twenty six year old F, have got 10 tattoos, many of which can't be spotted on my daily travels. Five To Six during the summer are pretty much constantly on display. I don't aim for attention and I have a loving boyfriend WITH NO TATTOOS .I get the impression that numerous people believe that tattooed persons are blind, as we get stared at, even when we return a glance many people carry on looking. When will society change?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mani! Makes me think of snowglobe soap by lush
LOVE this mani! I just found your site and I am WOWED! I'm a paper crafter, but recently discovered Konad and am hooked on nail blogs now. Yours truly stands out! Haha, I haven't touched a card or page since I started messing with my nails a few weeks ago. I'm seriously Konaddicted, moreso now than ever since I've seen your layered style!
