I have lots of stuff to post today! Bleach Black, Dick Weed mani pictures will be in the next post.
Anyway! Did I mention that the new Salon I've been going to has the original OPI MPJ?
The last time I was there, I tried to buy the used bottle at full price, but they said "no".
Today, I walked in there armed with more leverage-" My new and unused bottle of MPJ and $8.51 for your old, used for 2 manis bottle?"
Haha! They said "Yes"! I think I made a great deal! I got rid of a polish I'd never wear for the one I would.
I also purchased a bottle of OPI Russian Navy (new). Since Angel was running an hour late, I decided to go polish shopping at Claire's, Rue 21 (For a back-ups of Love Bites- Purple Haze, et al) & to Sally's.
At Claire's I picked up; Green Matte, Dream Catcher, Chunky Blue (jelly w/glitter) & Chunky Purple (jelly w/glitter).
Rue 21; All Love Bites- Purple Haze, Blue Twilight, Hot Pink w/pearl shimmer, Orchid w/pink shimmer, & #69 magenta jelly w/fuschia & red glitter.
Sally's; Orly- Fantasea, CG- Turned Up Turquoise, CG, Dorothy Who?, Nina Ultra Pro- Viva La Velvet, Sally Girl- Gold glitter(?)...
a bag of orange sticks, banana files, Instant Artificials (for my daughter), Polish thinner, & a gray stone stick in a tube (for cleaning the undersides of my nails).
nail swatches- flash
Claire's Green Matte- 1/2 with SV
I had to shore-up the polish rack I built for my mani station. The middle shelves were bowing around the mounting brackets. Several shelves are loaded 2 deep with polish, and I had to add some shelves and baskets on the other wall.
